We source our Spice Islands® ground thyme from Spain because of its rich flavor. Spanish thyme is marked by gray-green leaves that are carefully dried, then ground. Ground thyme works especially well in soups, stews and gravies, where additional texture isn’t welcome. Thyme releases its flavor gradually, so add it early in the cooking process.
