Alessi Julienne Cut Sundried Tomatoes are hand-picked from Southern Italy when they are juicy, red and flagrantly ripe. They are then split in half, salted and laid on large wooden flats to dry in the sun. The tomatoes are a welcomed addition to many foods. However, they have a high concentrated flavor which means a little goes a long way. They can be used in appetizers, dips and canapés. Drop in soup and meat stews or sprinkle on pastas, salads or rice. Also include them in risottos, omelettes, quiches, pizza, focaccia, or inside the bread dough. Its uses are limitless.
