Kids today seem to be under more stress than ever (e.g., peer pressure, performance anxiety) as well as feeling their parents’ stress (although parents are often unaware of it).
According to “Stress in America Findings,” a recent American Psychological Association survey and report, 33 percent of young people reported experiencing health symptoms associated with stress within the past month.
Yet stress isn’t the only problem our children face. In the study mentioned above, of that 33 percent experiencing health problems due to stress, 38 percent also reported sleep problems.
